4/5 HP Cold Plunge Water Chiller

Keep your cold-plunge water at a consistent temperature without repeatedly adding ice. This 4/5 HP water chiller combines compressor cooling, water circulation, filtration, and smart controls in one portable system designed for cold-plunge tubs holding less than 92 gallons.

The integrated pump circulates water through a 20-micron pleated filter and an additional built-in filter. Use the onboard control panel or compatible Wi-Fi app to adjust the temperature, set operating schedules, and configure automatic startup.

In reported test conditions, the system cooled 53 gallons of water to 37°F in approximately 3.8 hours at an ambient temperature of 79°F. Actual performance varies with starting water temperature, water volume, ambient conditions, insulation, plumbing configuration, and airflow around the chiller.

Important: This is a cooling-only chiller. It does not heat water. The cold-plunge tub is not included.

Key Features

  • 4/5 HP Compressor Cooling: Provides cooling for compatible cold-plunge systems.

  • Cools to 37°F: Supports water temperatures as low as approximately 37°F under suitable operating conditions.

  • For Tubs Under 92 Gallons: Designed for compatible cold-plunge tubs with capacities below 92 gallons.

  • Built-In Circulation Pump: Moves water through the filtration and cooling system without a separate external pump.

  • Dual Filtration: Combines a replaceable 20-micron pleated PET filter with an additional built-in filter.

  • Two Replacement Filters Included: Allows you to replace the pleated filter when needed.

  • Wi-Fi App Control: Adjust the temperature, set timers, and manage supported automatic-operation settings remotely.

  • Onboard Control Panel: Provides power, temperature adjustment, and Fahrenheit/Celsius controls directly on the unit.

  • Child Lock: Helps prevent unintended changes to control settings.

  • Insulated Hoses: Three included hoses have insulated covers to help reduce heat transfer.

  • Flexible Connections: Includes a 1/2-inch male-thread interface and two 3/4-inch female-to-1/2-inch male adapters.

  • Portable Design: Integrated handles and four casters make the chiller easier to reposition. Two casters have brakes.

  • GFCI-Protected Power Cord: Provides electrical protection when the unit is connected and operated according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

What’s Included

  • 4/5 HP water chiller

  • Built-in circulation pump

  • 20-micron pleated PET filter

  • Two replacement pleated filters

  • Three hoses with insulated covers

  • Two 3/4-inch female-to-1/2-inch male adapters

Setup

Position the chiller upright on a stable, level surface with adequate clearance around its ventilation openings. Lock the two braking casters before connecting the system.

Connect the tub outlet to the chiller’s filtration intake. Route the filtered-water line to the chiller inlet, then connect the cold-water return line to the tub. Tighten every fitting securely and inspect the system for leaks before connecting electrical power.

Fill and prime the system according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Never operate the pump or compressor without adequate water flow.

Controls

Use the onboard control panel to switch the unit on or off, adjust the temperature, and change between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

To activate the child lock, press the Increase and Decrease buttons simultaneously. For automatic startup, press the °F/°C button and then press and hold the Wi-Fi button. Consult the supplied manual before enabling either function, as control procedures may vary by production version.

Filter Maintenance

  • Inspect the filter and water flow regularly.

  • Replace the pleated filter if the flow rate falls below 14 LPM or the filter becomes visibly contaminated.

  • Clean the built-in filter approximately once per month.

  • Clean the internal filtration screen approximately once every three months.

  • Disconnect electrical power before opening, cleaning, or servicing any filtration component.

  • Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for draining, winterization, and long-term storage.

Filtration helps remove suspended particles but does not replace regular tub cleaning or scheduled water replacement.

Performance Notice

Cooling time depends on starting water temperature, water volume, room or outdoor temperature, tub insulation, hose length, plumbing configuration, airflow, and frequency of use. A fitted insulated tub cover may help reduce heat gain when the plunge is not in use.

The listed 37°F–108°F range is the controller range. This unit only removes heat from the water and cannot heat it.

Safety Notice

Install and operate the chiller only as directed by the manufacturer. Use an appropriate grounded, GFCI-protected circuit and keep electrical connections away from standing water. Disconnect electrical power before installing, inspecting, or servicing the equipment.
